No problem, you have a wonderful fluent style! If you don't mind me asking, did you take any drawing course before you started your animation course, and if so, where did you attend? It seems like you had a pretty strong grasp of it all when you started your animation course already.

I'm really glad to hear that!
No, I was self-taught before I went into animation.
Though I really wish I did take a course, because since I always just drew what I liked, I never really got into anatomy and my animations have sometimes suffered because of that. Are you studying animation? :)

Wow, great job on being an autodidact then! Like I said, your drawing looked really solid even before (I think) you started the course.

No, I'm studying game design, though I've always loved movies and animation more than games. I mostly went there because it seemed to be the only course that would teach me some solid drawing foundation skills here in the Netherlands =) I'm toying with the idea of attending some animation/drawing course, that's why I was so interested. Are you attending this school by any chance? [link] I've seen a few of their shorts before, really impressive.

I got admitted at IGAD!
There was just something I wanted to ask: the math test at the beginning of the year; did you take the extra lessons?
I sort of graduated with math B at VWO level but there are still a few subjects from the entry test which could use work. So I'm not very sure whether I should sign up or not.

Did they give you the option of taking some online course and completing it instead? I didn't take the extra classes nor the math test myself because I completed some test online instead. I heard the math test was easy though, at least it was 2 years ago, because they probably also have to take MBO and havo students into account. Since you did math B at VWO I think you should be fine if you freshen up on some basic math, but yea, I'd ask someone who did the math test instead =\ Did you have contact with ~galgje? She started last year, maybe she can tell you about the math test. Good luck and I'll see you around!

And yes I asked her about it too, she did the online course and got the certificate. I think I'll be signing up for ALEKS and completing that instead. Since they mentioned that with a 100% result printscreenshot you wouldn't have to take the test. Which sounds quite appealing to me.

Yea, that's the same thing I did, though at the time I even got through with something like 92%. Not that I ever used it for the course again, but whatever.

Anyway, see you at Camp Lost. I'll be a team lead, just look for the girl with the big brown curly hair.
